Domestic abuse has recently increased at an alarming rate since the start of this lockdown. Couples who are now forced to stay at home get involved in more quarrels and fights and these may lead to more domestic abuse than happened previously. While we don’t have statistics for Cameroon, a recent article by the Scottish Sun shows an increase of domestic abuse casea by 49 per cent.
